KB02 Venue Hire, 220 Green Lanes, Palmers Green, London N13 5UD, is the data controller for the details you give us here. Questions: parties@kb02.net.
What we collect
- Booking a party: your name, email, mobile, the party date and time, and if you tell us, the birthday child’s first name, age, rough numbers, music and food plans and anything else you add.
- Paying: your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of what was paid, when, and Stripe’s reference.
- The party waiver: the name you type to sign it, the time, and a keyed, one-way scramble of your connection address, so we can show you signed it.
- Cancellations list, viewings and auctions: your name, email, mobile and the dates you asked about.
- Visiting the site: the sign-in cookies that keep you on your party page or the staff admin, and a 30-day cookie if you arrived through a partner’s link so we know who sent you. Only if you say yes in the box at the bottom of the page: Google Analytics cookies (through Google Tag Manager) that count visits and tell us which pages lead to bookings, without your name or email.
Why we use it
- To run your party: confirmations, reminders about your held date, your balance and your waiver, and a message if your date changes. We send these because they are part of the booking you asked for.
- To tell you a date has freed up, that a viewing is confirmed, or that an auction has started or you have been outbid, when you asked us to.
- To ask how the party went, a day or two afterwards.
- To send past customers the odd offer about parties at KB02 (you booked with us, so we think you may want to know). Every one has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just reply or message us; cancellations-list alerts only go to people who asked for them.
- To keep our accounts and meet our legal duties.
Who helps us
Your details are stored and sent by services we use to run the system. They only process them on our behalf:
- Vercel (hosting) and Upstash (secure storage), in the EU and UK/US regions they operate.
- Stripe for card payments.
- Resend for emails and BulkSMS for text messages.
- Google (Analytics and Tag Manager), only if you agree to cookies.
- Matterport for the 360° tour and Google Fonts for the lettering on these pages: they see your connection address when the page loads.
If you order party extras from DJW Events, we pass them the party date and time, rough numbers, and the birthday child’s first name and age so they can personalise things like cakes, frames and gifts. Nothing else, and we never sell your details.
If you press Make your invites, we pass RSVP Sorted, a separate invites company, your booking reference, the party date and times, which package you booked, the birthday child’s first name and age, how many children are coming, and your first name, email and mobile, so your invite is ready to design and they can send you your guests’ replies. Nothing is shared unless you press it. From then on RSVP Sorted is in charge of the invites and replies, under its own privacy notice. If your party moves or is cancelled, we tell them the new date and times, or that it is off, so your guests see the change.
How long we keep it
- Booking and payment records: 6 years, as our accountants and HMRC require.
- Cancellations-list and viewing requests: removed 30 days after the date they were about. Sign-in codes and unfinished card payments: removed within a day or a month of expiring.
- Marketing permissions: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
